Alternative Medicine and Me
Sunday, November 25th, 2007I’m not a big fan of either big pharma companies or the witch doctors (my term for the peddlers of every herb with a list of diseases that it cures). But I have to say that there are a few supplements that I’ve become a believer in. You’re still not going to convince me that alfalfa tablets are the cure for cancer or the common cold. But I’m convinced that some of the alternative medicine out there is worth checking out.
For instance, I’ve been taking an Omega-3 supplement. I can really tell a difference. I don’t forget things as easily. I can concentrate longer. And as an added bonus, my skin is not nearly as itchy and dry. Dry skin is something I’ve suffered from my whole life but since starting Omega-3, I hardly use any lotion at all.
